On the afternoon of March 5, Chenghan International Campus had the honor to invite Professor Jon Mills, a former admissions officer at Harvard, to give a lecture on the applications of top universities in the United States.

American university enrollment has its own characteristics. To apply for American universities is indeed different from China's college entrance examination. China's college entrance examination is a bridge of thousands of troops across a single timber bridge. Scores are final, but there are many ways to apply for American universities to go all the way through Rome. When applying, Chinese students need to consider how to present themselves best.

Two

Either balanced development or special prominence

If you want to get good results, there are two ways to apply to famous American schools.

balanced development

For example, the "Merit Students" in China have good academic performance and become student union cadres. Their abilities in all aspects are well developed.

Special highlights

There is a special strong specialty, such as winning a high prize in a math competition, or playing basketball to a very high level.

Three

These three aspects of efforts:

Academic Achievements, Extracurricular Activities, Personal Quality

After the lecture, Professor Jon Mills answered some questions from students

More reasonable suggestions for students and parents: let students find what they really love, follow the heart to make choices is particularly important! Take your children to the United States to see the schools they like and feel the atmosphere on campus. Maybe they will find out if they are suitable to study in this school.

After visiting Chenghan International Campus, Professor Jon Mills praised the high level of hardware facilities and faculty. He was convinced that students who graduated from such schools would surely win the favor of famous overseas schools.
