The golden autumn is refreshing, the sweet smell of osmanthus is fragrant, and the harvest season is happy.
On September 25, under the leadership of Vice Principal Jackie CHEN, all the students of Grade 10 of Chenghan International School came to Chenghan Ollie Farm to carry out outdoor practice of "Butterfly Garden" project. He said that through the systematic "Butterfly Garden" entrepreneurship course, student can
learn from nature, so as to to cultivate their intelligence, self-control, sense of responsibility, initiative, communication, and forge lifelong useful thinking and literacy.
This course is presided over by Miss. Li Yundi of Chenghan International School and lectured by Mr. Chen Jinchang, Senior Landscape Architect of Chenghan Group. Chen Jinchang introduced that this open class takes a piece of farmland at Ollie Farm as the object of the project. Students can give full play to their imagination, take landscape design, marketing, project budget and other factors into consideration, take groups as units, measure on site, discuss and draw preliminary sketches.
Then Vice Principal Jackie CHEN and Mr. Chen Jinchang led the students to the project site for measurement, patiently explained and guided the student to measure the site, and carefully teach the students how to organize the statistical data.
Ms. Peng Ying, the founder of the "Butterfly Garden" entrepreneurship course and Vice General Manager of Chenghan Group, went into the students'classroom again and personally went to the survey site to guide students. Vice President Peng Ying told reporters: "Nature is the best teacher for human beings. Chenghan has abundant high-quality resources to help children feel the unique charm of nature. The significance of Ollie Farm lies in education, so that more children can go into nature and understand nature. The Butterfly Garden Course can cultivate students'spirit of learning from each other, broaden their horizons together, give full play to their imagination, improve their enthusiasm and effectiveness in learning, and lay a solid foundation for their thinking and literacy in future independent entrepreneurship or taking over the family industry.
Back at Ollie Farm, students can't wait to discuss and express their own opinions. Finally, the group leader summarizes the opinions of the members of the group and draws up a preliminary design draft of "own intellectual property rights". During the seminar, Vice President Peng Ying and Mr. Chen Jinchang spared no effort to guide students.
